Protection Training Course descriptions and dates. 8th Annual Data
Protection Compliance Conference 8th & 9th October 2009 -
London, UK Keynote speaker: In the past year data protection has become even
more important. Recognising this, many more organisations have
appointed Data Protection Officers to deal with the ever increasing
compliance tasks that the law requires. In the current
economic climate, it is critical that organisations do not risk
fines or reputational damage by mishandling personal data. The
Conference is designed to provide delegates with the latest
compliance advice in the ever-changing landscape of data protection.
This two-day event gives delegates all they need
to know about changes to data protection practice in the past year,
as well as an insight into how to handle the myriad issues that
arise in the workplace on a daily basis. Day 1 features
speeches from the UK’s leading data protection experts, whilst Day 2
features six practical half-day Workshops. Delegates have the
opportunity to choose up to two of the Workshops, which focus on the
issues most relevant to their own organisations. As always, this must-attend event features
practical advice, discussions, questions, practical scenarios,
sharing of experiences and networking.
The Conference is accredited by the Law Society with 12 CPD
Points. PDP’s Conferences are renowned for being highly
practical, as well as entertaining, events. They usually sell-out,
so early booking is recommended. |
