This session has been specifically designed for FOI professionals to enable them to remain completely up to date with the latest essential changes to FOI practice.  Developed in conjunction with Damien Welfare, FOI expert Barrister at 3-4 Gray’s Inn Square Chambers, this short evening session runs 4 times per year.

Attend this 1.5 hour evening session to hear the practical implications of the latest decisions form the Information Commissioner and the Information Tribunal.  This FOI course is designed to keep you and your staff fully up to date with the developments in FOI practice that have occurred in the preceding 3 months.

This evening session runs on a quarterly basis in London only.  Special prices apply for delegates booking on for all four sessions.

Damien Welfare

 

Damien Welfare is a Barrister at 2-3 Gray’s Inn Square.

He specialises in Information law, including Freedom of Information, Data Protection and the Environmental Information Regulations (of which he has made a special study), and local government law.

He appears in the Information Tribunal, advises on a wide range of EIR, FOI and DP issues, and regularly addresses conferences and seminars on these topics.

Damien is a member of the Editorial Board of Freedom of Information, published by PDP, and contributes articles on FOI and EIR topics, as well as a regular update of case decisions.

For delegates booking 4 sessions, the fee is £400 plus VAT ( £470.00 ) per delegate or £300 plus VAT ( £352.50 ) per delegate for 3 or more delegates attending from the same organisation.
